Countdown to Moving Day

Seven days and counting...

One week from today, Mike will graduate from The Basic School here in Virginia. Way to go, Mike! We are so proud of you! He's really looking forward to flight school. And we're both looking forward to a warmer climate.

It hasn't really sank in yet, but we will be moving next Friday. This weekend, we'll be gearing up for the packing and moving company that will be here Monday thru Wednesday. We are excited to get down to Pensacola and see our new home (in person) for the first time. We close on the house Monday, March 20. However, our furniture and everything won't arrive until the 23rd. That's a blessing I think, because we'll have the perfect opportunity to PAINT! I'm so excited to pick all new colors! I've been watching HGTV and looking at lots of magazines lately to get ideas. I love paint. It's such a dramatic and inexpensive way to add character to a space. For the six months we've been here, we've had a lot of items held in storage in TX. I think we've both forgotten what we have, so it'll be fun to see what arrives!

Whoa!!! I can't wait!!!! Gosh, only 7 days. I can't wait to paint our new place too. However, I will need your expertise to get the job done.

So much goodness in your life right now!! Good for you! I am excited for you. Moving is fun--IF (IF being the operative word, here) you have someone else to move all of the stuff for you.

I am so excited for you guys! I love painting too! It's amazing what a difference adding color to the walls (and ceilings if you're brave) makes! Have fun and take it easy. You guys will be in our thoughts and prayers! E-mail your new address, etc. when you get a chance.

Somehow I missed the pictures of your house when you posted them. We were talking about your move, and Jonathan and my sister were talking about how nice your new house looked, and I was like how have you seen it? They told me about the previous post, so I scrolled down, and sure enough . . . there's your new home. It's beautiful! It looks like a great place to bring home baby Wallace. Happy moving day!

Congrats to Mike, I knew he would excel to the next level (he always does). I hope we can help in some way on your move. Be careful with lifting in your condition and do not inhale paint fumes. Just being a Dad again..LOVE ALWAYS.

Wish I could be there to help you paint. I had fun helping you in Texas, of course we also had Linda's help too. I'm so excited for you all. I'm very proud of Mike and his accomplishments. Don't over do it and take care of the Baby. Love you.
