We're Home!

After a week of craziness and two days of driving, we are finally home. We've been busy bees for the past two days after closing on our new home here in Milton, FL. We LOVE the house!!! We spent yesterday shopping for a new washer and dryer and a microwave. Then spent last night doing some heavy duty cleaning. Turns out the previous owners had three gi-normous cats. We used our trusty Kirby vaccuum, equipped with some special allergen bags we found and sucked up a lot (hopefully all) of the dander and such in the carpet. Our furniture is supposed to arrive tomorrow morning. I can't wait to get off this air-mattress and into our bed. As far as our painting project, we've cancelled it. The paint the previous owners used is beautiful!!! Our taste exactly. We won't change a thing, except maybe add an accent wall here or there. And of course we'll paint the nursery once we know what we're having.

Here's Junah. He slept 99.9% of the drive. As you can see, he can sleep in just about any position.

I took this as we crossed from Alabama into the Sunshine State. Hello sunshine!!!

I'll post pictures of the house once we have all our furniture in place. Stay tuned also for pictures from Mike's graduation.

I'm nine weeks along today. Mike has been tolerating my morning sickness. It's driving me insane, however. I feel nauseous throughout the day and actually get sick two or three times a day. I'll have about three more weeks of it, I guess. Other than that, I feel OK. No cramps or headaches or anything. There's so much to do around here, and it's a bit frustrating that often I can't find enough energy to do it all. Mike is so understanding, and I'm so lucky to have him! I'm looking forward to the second trimester, which I'm told will be much better.

I'm glad to hear you are home-sweet-home!!! Have fun decorating! I can't wait to see pictures. I'm sorry to hear you are so sick. Hopefully you'll be back to feeling great in a couple of weeks, and then you can enjoy the rest of your pregnancy and prepare for baby Wallace.
