He's gone. There were countless tears and countless hugs and kisses. The hardest part was watching him say goodbye to our precious girls. Such a hard day, but we got through it and now we start counting down the days until his return.
I wish I could've gotten more video of Mike, but they wouldn't let us get close to film them or take pictures of them getting into the jets. We were told it makes it harder on them if their family is standing right there and making it harder to concentrate on getting the jet in the air. I understood, but I wish so much I could've gotten those pictures of him in his gear and helmet and all.

We are so proud of you, Mike! We love you so much and miss you every minute. Every second.

That was the saddest video. I can't image what your going thru. Just want you to know I am here for you anytime. We will be praying for all of you. Love you cuz.

My heart just hurts for you and the girls! I cried just watching the video and can’t imagine what you are going though! You are such a strong person, mother and a wonderful wife!! Words aren't adaequate after watching your video. I don't know how you did that but I too so look forward to seeing the WELCOME HOME sequal!! The song was an added heart tug. The last and only other time I've heard that was at Sarah and Colin's wedding...they danced to it. Please know you're ALL in our prayers for God's Grace and Speed! Feel our hearts around you. Ok...I said I wasn't going to cry when I finally got the chance to watch this and catch up on all posts and miserably failed. You know how much I love you all.
