At this stage, Abby Kate is so interested in her surroundings. She grabs everything within reach (including Junah). So we got her what's called an "
Exersaucer ." It's like a walker, but it's stationary. It has so many things to play with and a seat that swivels, so AK can access all the buttons, toys and sounds it has to offer. Plus it bounces... sort of. Anyway, we put her in it and she fell in love immediately! And so did we. She'll sit and play in it for a half-hour or so, giving me some time to get a few more things done each day. It took me about an hour to put it together. Time-consuming, but pretty simple. I'd recommend this to any mom. My nephew, William, has the same one and he loves it, too.
